| Hello, and welcome to Control4! You're receiving this welcome email because you've been provided access to a Control4 audio/video environment. Whether you're home, at the office, or in a community building, Control4 provides the front-end user controls, to operate the technology around you, in simple, intuitive and one button methods. The following instructions will walk you through how to install the Control4 smartphone application on your device so that you can get started right away! Read on for more tutorials!
Please note: For Control4 Smartphone Application, you'll need login credentials. If you don't already have a Control4 account, then credentials will be provided to you separately by your smart home professional or property manager.

| Step 1 (Install): Use the links below to browse to the appropriate app store for your device. Use your own Google or Apple credentials to download and install the app on your device. After installation, open the application. You'll be prompted to "allow notifications" and "allow local network discovery", choose to allow for both. Next, choose "Add System", enter your Control4 email address and password then choose "Log In". |

| Step 2 (First Time Setup): If this is the first time installing the app, you'll be prompted to provide local access permissions to the intercom portion of the application. If you're the homeowner and want to use intercom features than follow the prompts to allow access to all categories. If this is a publicly used system than you do not need to use the intercom functions and should click the "back" arrow at the top of screen to exit and get started! |

| Step 3 (Choose Room and Activity): From the home screen, you can either launch an activity now, or select a different room. To launch an activity, choose "Watch" for video and "Listen" for audio. To switch rooms, tap on the "Room Name" at the top of the screen to open the rooms list. Scroll through the list and select a room to switch control to that room. Now, when you pick an activity, it will affect the room you just selected. That's it, get started and press lots of buttons! |

| Additional (Settings Menu ): You can use the settings menu to administrate various parameters of the app. The settings menu is also where you can connect to a second Control4 system, or to remove the current one. If you want to remove the current system, from the "Home Screen", Click on the Control4 logo in the upper left-hand corner and then choose "Settings". Click on the name of your system to access its settings page. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the "Remove System" button. |
